Clamping Seals ///
First of all, please note that seals are never mached with the strap, but instead with a strapping device. It is possible here to distinguish between five basic kinds of seals, which are produced in a range of dimensions, according to the strap widths:
- Overlapping, with two slightly overlapping wings
- C-Form, with wings folded inwards
- U-Form, with upstanding wings perpendicular
- Hammerblow seals for round tensioners with wings which have to be knocked with a hammer
- Magazine seals at which the seals are combined to a magazine and are squeezed into the steel strap by a magazine seals tool.
Depending on the level of corrosion protection required, it is possible to produce the seals in a bright, galvanized, copper-coated or painted finish.
